Tuba

The tuba is a regular symphony orchestra instrument, but concertos for the largest and lowest-pitched instrument in the brass family are not very common. Probably the best-known one is by Vaughan Williams, some other notable ones are by Aho, Eshpai, and Birtwistle (The Cry of Anubis). I have selected the concerto by Vagn Holmboe, played by Jens Bjorn-Larsen with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra under Owain Arwel Hughes on BIS.
