The barrel organ is a French mechanical musical instrument consisting of bellows and one or more ranks of pipes housed in a case, usually of wood, and often highly decorated. . Another example of a highly unlikely concertante instrument. I know of only one concerto for it, by Romanian-born French composer Marius Constant, best known for the iconic Twilight Zone theme song. It is played by Pierre Charial with the Nancy Symphony Orchestra under Jérôme Kaltenbach on Erato.
