The zhudi is the Chinese bamboo flute, somewhat similar to the shakuhachi in Japan. Unsurprisingly, concertos for the instrument are hard to find. I selected one composed
by Chang Ping, titled "Blue Lotus". It is played by Yuan Feifan with the China National Symphony Orchestra under Lin Tao on Naxos.
