Tenor Saxophone

The tenor saxophone is a medium-sized member of the saxophone family, and the most frequently used after the alto. It has been used in some 20th century classical music, e.g. in Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. There are also some concertos for it, as expected for such a versatile instrument. I selected the "Classical Concerto" from 1992 by American composer Eric Awazen, played by James Houlik with the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra under Paul Polivnick on Albany.
